What is BARNISM?

BARNISM is a collection of categorised photos and images for visual stimulus and creative inspiration.

Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to be able to take a photo of whatever I was seeing with a blink of my eye, and be able to record my thoughts as they happened, then save and catalogue them so I could find them easily and cross-reference them.
A kind of biometric camera-stenotype with built-in microfiche and database.

Until someone invents that, this site is the closest to it that I could come up with.

The photos aren’t necessarily for the sake of photography; many have been cropped, tweaked and had bits masked out in Photoshop to show whatever it was that I found interesting.
