Wanted to link to a project done by Philippe Desarzens on the Lineto digital font site, but you can’t link to pages there…(great site but this is never good).
So go to http://www.lineto.com/ click on The Designers : Philippe Desarzens : A to Z and you’ll see a nice “family portrait of the various stencil sets we used for the generation of the three versions of the «Le Corbusier» font family”
The font is based on these stencil letters you see a lot of in France.

Seen on electricity boxes in Bangkok.
I guess this is just the generic electric company’s logo (like these ones in Italy), but it looks like some kind of amazing military insignia.
